Associate Counselor

As a therapist, I’m dedicated to creating a safe, caring space where you can feel comfortable exploring your feelings, challenges, and goals. I believe everyone’s story is unique, and I approach each person with understanding and respect. My goal is to work with you to help you grow, heal, and discover more about yourself, building trust and open communication along the way.
I use a mix of therapy methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness, all tailored to what works best for you. I believe the relationship we build in therapy helps create lasting change, giving you the tools to become more resilient, develop healthier ways of coping, and grow in self-awareness and self-compassion.
I’m passionate about helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and life changes. My approach respects each person’s unique experiences. I will work with you to challenge limiting beliefs, break through emotional barriers, and support you in living a fulfilling life because we all have the strength to overcome challenges.
Although I welcome the opportunity to provide a safe and supportive environment for anyone in need, I have a particular interest in working with men to create a space where they can openly explore their emotions, identities, and personal struggles without fear of judgment. I understand the societal pressures and expectations that often make it difficult for men to seek support, and I aim to dismantle those barriers while helping to foster self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful personal growth.
I’ve also taken a personal interest in servicing marginalized and BIPOC populations who have experienced complex developmental trauma. Having experienced my own form of complex developmental trauma, I’ve learned about the difficulties it creates as it relates to emotional navigation, regulation, and processing, relationship management, familial interactions, and much more. As a Black male-identifying provider, I also know the challenges and stigma around seeking mental health services in communities of color, and I’m here to deconstruct those norms.
I encourage you to reach out today for a free consultation and see if we may be a good fit!
