Areas of focus

Anxiety is super common and presents in so many ways! Whether it’s general anxiety, social anxiety, or a panic disorder you’re facing, counseling can equip you with the tools to take back control so you can live your life with intention—not fear.

Anxiety

Experiencing low motivation, isolation, hopelessness, or a general decline in your overall functioning? You aren’t alone. Here, you’ll identify the underlying source of your symptoms and create attainable goals to address them effectively.

Depression

It’s not uncommon to struggle with mental health after a life-changing event. Whether it’s a big move, new job, shift in family structure, relationship, death, illness, or even transitioning to adulthood, counseling can support you in finding balance.

Life Transitions

Relationships don’t have to be romantic to be stressful. Family relationships, friendships, and even workships can become complicated or unhealthy—often bringing distress to all involved and wreaking havoc on your mental health.

Relationship Stress

Grief is not synonymous with death and there aren’t limits to what you’re “allowed” to grieve. From people and relationships to opportunities and tangible items, grief knows no bounds. Process your feelings and find a path forward with a counselor.

Grief & Loss

Whether you’re navigating the cultural stigma of seeking help for the first time or you’re an old pro, you’re safe here. Working with a culturally competent counselor allows your experiences to be validated. Knowing they can relate is a bonus!

Cultural Concerns

Sometimes, we turn to mood-altering substances to cope with difficult life experiences. If you’re depending on a substance, you’re likely also facing another mental health concern. If things are getting out of control, seeing a counselor can help.

Addiction Recovery

Many skills can be learned in therapy. Some include mindfulness practices, emotional regulation, communication, boundary setting, assertiveness, and time management. What skills could you benefit from adding to your toolkit?

Skills Training

These are just a few areas that can be addressed in therapy. Other examples are issues like body image, self-esteem, work & school stress, anger, trauma, etc. If you don’t see your concern listed here, connect with a counselor to ask if they can help.
